The 29th of March was the Full Moon in Libra, an excellent time to use your energy intelligently and extend it out into the world. This expansive energy continues as we welcome April and feel Aries’ bold and adventurous spirit.
In the northern hemisphere, spring brings fresh new growth, optimism and hope. Here in Melbourne, it’s Autumn, but I’m planting my spring bulbs now and will need patience to see them flourishing in September.
April begins with the KING OF WANDS embodying Aries’s essence. He’s passionate, driven and gets things done. He enjoys challenges and the thrill of solving complex problems. Be brave, bold, confident and fearless. Help, encourage and inspire others. Be a leader, act with integrity and know that you come from a spiritual place.
In week two, the PAGE OF WANDS brings new beginnings, ideas, goals, dreams and opportunities. You will be feeling confident, passionate and inspired! It’s time to start that new project or act on an idea that you’ve had. Be daring and courageous because you will be going in a new direction. Exciting news may also be coming, so get ready to go! You’ll be feeling enthusiastic, optimistic, adventurous and full of energy!
The FOOL in week 3 encourages you to take a divine leap of faith. New beginnings are here, and you are ready for a fresh start. You are probably feeling adventurous, enthusiastic and optimistic, knowing there is something greater to explore. Take a risk and believe that you can achieve anything you want!! You’re ready for a new journey.
The last week of April brings the EIGHT OF CUPS, suggesting that it may be necessary to move on from a situation that is no longer serves you. If you feel tired, weary and dispirited, then you need to let go, walk away and move in a new direction. Reflect, set your intention and be poised to receive. It may be a physical change like a job, location or relationship; or an inner change – releasing old patterns, especially if they dominate your thoughts and emotions.
The oracle cards “REFLECT”, “INTENTIONS” and “POISED.” Firstly, take some quiet time to reflect. Without contemplation, we can repeat patterns over and over again. Be compassionate with your reflective work, be gentle and remind yourself that transformation and change are ALWAYS possible!
