Well, another year draws to a close, and many will be breathing a sigh of relief! I am looking forward to a break, but I am also excited about starting a few new projects next year. So, what is coming up for the last month of 2022?
The Queen of Pentacles encourages us to adopt a practical approach, especially concerning money. Black Friday and Cyber Monday kicked off the silly spending season, with Christmas and Boxing Day sales still to come. Stay grounded, and don’t over-extend your energy or your finances.
December is a festive season, a time to celebrate, appreciate the abundance around us, and connect, nurture and support family, friends and community. Be open to the needs of others, especially those who may feel alone or abandoned at this time of the year.
For many, 2022, the Year of the Yang Water Tiger, has been a tough one, a rough ride with challenges and obstacles. However, 2023 promises to be calmer and more peaceful with the gentle and loving energy of the Yin Water-Rabbit. The worst is over, and there are better times ahead.
Celebrations and festivities bring people together, and there is a sense of nostalgia as we reconnect with friends and family. You may find yourself drifting to days gone by, and old memories may be triggered.
Now is a time to forgive and forget. Release any guilt, anger or resentment that you may still carry from past relationships, trauma or actions. Make peace with yourself, others and the past. You can look forward to a bright future in 2023.
Replace negative feelings with peace, harmony, and healing. Make peace with the past, as it is part of who you are now. A reconciliation may be on the cards as a family reunion brings joy. A re-connection with an old flame or someone from the past is also likely.
As the year draws to a close, we feel the urge to slow down and stop to take stock. A time to relax, reflect, recharge and re-set as another new year approaches. Look back on the past year and appreciate what you have achieved, your hard work, memories and hopes. Pause, and give thanks.
The holiday break will allow you to revisit your purpose and directions. Consider your goals for the coming year as the journey may have changed and the goalposts shifted. Trust that you are on the right path. Realise the inner strength you showed as you navigated your way through 2022. There is strength in having the courage to push through obstacles, challenges and fears and to remain calm, loving and optimistic.
Also, acknowledge that there is strength in our relationships, friends, family, being part of a community and shared spiritual faith. There is strength in the power of love!! Have a wonderful festive season!
