Yule, Christmas And Summer Solstice

Yule, the winter solstice, is a time of great symbolism and power. It marks the return of the Sun / Son, when the days finally begin to get a little longer. It’s also a time to celebrate with family and friends, and share in the spirit of giving during the holidays.

However, in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the time of year when the crops are growing vigorously and the earth has warmed up. We can spend long sunny afternoons enjoying the outdoors, enjoying the company of family and friends or getting back to nature with the longer daylight hours.

The Sun card in Tarot reflects the warmth, success, positivity, vitality and fun energy of the Sun. It brings great abundance, joy and happiness. The Sun symbolises the feeling of optimism and fulfilment, the hope that comes with the dawn as it emerges after the darkest night.
